Overview
This person is responsible to manage the Customs activities including day-to-day operational oversight.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
? Manage daily import and export activities, ensure the effective and smooth execution of customs affairs, to make sure the SOP implementation and being followed efficiently
? Import from overseas company plants/DCs to the bonded warehouse in WGQ FTZ and a few Export from WGQ FTZ
? Assure the accuracy of HS code/duty rate and Chinese elements while new materials being set up. Including explore the import documents requirements for import and export
? Set up a systematic control process to monitor the import and export process and control the data accuracy
? Oversee and assess the quality and delivery of services provided by brokers or other external service providers.
? Resolve customs/CIQ related issues/disputes, liaise with Customs/CIQ authorities as needed.
? Manage audits by the Chinese Customs agencies and related government entities
? Liaise with external: Customs, CIQ or other government authorities for policy or regulatory update, and internal: Trade Compliance Team, then figure out how to match or improve import and export efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or international trading related. High Tech/Electronics manufacturing environment is a plus. Additional qualifications include:
? 5 years or above of relevant working experience in WGQ FTZ which includes customs clearance monitoring and pre-classification handling. And 2 years or above experience as a team leader.
? Sufficient experience on managing the logistics and customs clearance service providers. Know how to audit their daily practice and figure out the improve points.
o Familiar with FTZ customs and CIQ operation, import and export regulations, especially in the regulation of FTZ
o SAP knowledge is a plus.
o Fluent oral and written English.
