职位 boss 描述

Overview:
Along with the increasing HEMS projects in China, Product Engineer will take more responsible for HV relay transfer from Global and design change for local OEM market. Aim to support booming China Electrical/Hybrid Car marketing, product validation success, quality improvement , manufacturing support and components localization ratio will be important, so capability engineer with rich HV relay experience will be necessary.

Professional Knowledge:
Have the capability to design relay independently, especially the high current/high voltage DC relay for Automotive;
Has good knowledge of variant relay design, application and validation;
Have good knowledge with general relay standard/speciviation globally and special requirements of different OEM's;
Familiar with the validation test of relay and can perform the relay test by self or instruct test engineer to do the test;
Know well about the electromagnatism of relay,can perform simulation and calculation for relay magnet performance;
Familiar with the material requirement of relay, can select the suitable relay material for China marketing;
Familiar with key process of relay manufacturing, such as winding, welding and annealing;
Knows well about the variant manufacture process, such as molding, stamping, plating and assembly;
Higher ability of problem analyses and calculation, can support factory to implement efficiency improvement;
Have good understanding about the Electrical car standard globally;
Familiar with main competitor's relay in Electrical/Hybrid car field;

Responsibilities:

Project Management
Good project management and time management skill. Actively communication with CFT member to achieve milestone on time. Periodically reviews project progress with team leader in order to reduce/avoid potential risk. Failure to achieve project targets may results in serious delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

Product development
1. New product: Good communication skill in English with original design engineer abroad. Understanding product standard and application in order to perform validation test locally and provide technical support for local customer. Experienced mould/die design knowledge so as to do mold/die design review with mold/die engineer and original product design engineer abroad. Experienced with general process knowledge, such as winding,welding and potting. Good metal and plastic knowledge, can evaluate new material to improve product Competitiveness. Expanding product series according customer special requirement.
2. Product Improvement: With the purpose of investing to save, perform new structure design, develop knowledge of relevant new technologies, materials, equipment, and market trends. Applies knowledge in order to determine needs and opportunities to improve existing products.

Technical support
Know well process on connector manufacturing. Comprehensive engineering sense and ability of problem analyses and solving. Support on quality issue and process improvement in plant.

Product qualification
Determines the evaluation or test items and confirms the test result with abroad design engineer or customer in order to ensure that the product meets the quality specification. Define test items on new material or new process evaluation. Analyzes the causes of failure and identifies routine solutions.

Innovation & IP
Reviews patent searches to evaluate the patentability of proposed designs in order to ensure that others' patents are not infringed upon. Provides innovative solutions to reduce product cost, improve product quality, and improve process efficiency. Documents and communicates potential IP to ensure TE's IP is protected.

Product specification
Know well about industry standard and customer standard. Determines specifications for technical data. Performs engineering calculations to analyze and describe the product in order to establish a standard characteristic of the product.

Requirements:

B.S. of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 5 or more years of experience on high current and high voltage DC relay;
Or Master of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3 or more years of experience on high current and high voltage DC relay; Work experience with HV relay for Electrical/Hybrid car will be a plus.
Good English communication skill in speaking and writing. Builds strong internal/external working relationship.
Aware of cultural differences that may exist in business and technical practices and applies them effectively in global interactions. Willingness to travel globally. Opportunity to work with various global cultures. Strongly team work spirit.
