职位 boss 描述

Responsibilities:

Develop, communicate and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, supplier development and global supply base consolidation.

Continually and systematically reduce ElectroCraft’s material costs and inventory levels.

Understand cost drivers at our suppliers to obtain lower costs while ensuring high quality.

Identify, qualify and transition low cost region suppliers for both ElectroCraft Asia and ElectroCraft globally.

Apply lean supply chain practices with the internal supply chain and with key suppliers.

Partner with purchasing teams throughout ElectroCraft to identify and transition parts and commodities to low cost region suppliers.

Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance; escalate issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective action when improvement is required.

Work across the organization to ensure solid inventory management strategies and tools are applied to meet company objectives for material and customer service levels.

Ensure cost effective and efficient logistics between Asia and North America / Europe.

Qualifications:

5+ years sourcing and purchasing experience in a high mix, low to medium volume global manufacturing environment. This includes supplier evaluation and management.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.

Demonstrated success reducing material costs, shortening supplier delivery lead times and improving supplier quality performance.

Ability to manage multiple tasks through the utilization of Project Management tools and skills.

Relevant commodity expertise (motor and drive components) and strong knowledge of the competitive supply environment.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma business practices.

Complete understanding of supply chain metrics and the ability to use them to drive performance.

Solid negotiation, interpersonal, communications and analytical skills.

Computer skills including ERP and Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft AX experience is a plus.

Strong fluency in native language and English, both written and spoken.

Ability to successfully work in multiple business and national cultures.

Ability to travel frequently to suppliers in Asia. Must be able to travel internationally (for example, be able to obtain proper visas and paperwork when necessary).

Enjoys supply chain management and working in a team environment.
